Transportation to Southwestern Oregon:
By air: Fly into Medford International (MFR), approximately one hour from BCAEC.
By bus: We can meet you in Medford or Ashland.
By train: Unfortunately we are over 100 miles from the nearest train station in Klamath Falls, which is on the other side of the Cascade Range. While there is a shuttle van to Medford, we don’t recommend that option because the train gets into KF late at night in a sketchy part of town with no nearby accommodations. The shuttle leaves the next day at 7 a.m. If coming by train, we recommend switching to bus in Portland/Eugene or Sacramento/Redding.
Driving: Please carpool! Exits off I-5 at Grants Pass, Gold Hill, Medford, Ashland.
Parking: Please note there is very limited on site parking. We will however be arranging off-site parking and a shuttle.
IMPORTANT! If you are driving, DO NOT use internet (google, etc) maps & directions! These maps send you 10 miles over a treacherous 4-wheel drive dirt road that climbs a 4500’ pass & features deep ruts and active log truck traffic, all still miles from BCAEC!
